Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Requirements: 1 to 2 years experience in a manufacturing involving computerized production control systems. Experience in production planning and Microsoft Office. Ability to make decisions using data provided.
Reports To: Operations Manager
Description: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for keeping records of all products shipped and received within the company. Their duties include packing goods in shipping containers, creating mailing labels and shipping documents to ensure all orders have been filled correctly. This position is also responsible for verify incoming shipments by scanning barcodes or inputting the information into the computer system. This position works inside the manufacturing plant.

Education: Candidates for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position, must have a High School Diploma or equivalent education as a minimum requirement. Must have work experience with computers, business equipment or other electronic fields. Must know how to mark, count, stock, take inventory and keep accurate records. Candidates having two or three years of work experience in a related industry is a plus, fork lift experience is also a plus.
