OSCO can now UL list panels that go in hazardous locations. Panels that need to go in Class 1 Division 1 and Class 1 Division 2 areas can now be manufactured by and UL listed by OSCO. Additionally, a panel that needs to go into a Class 2 Division 2 area can also be UL listed as long as it is purged only. A purged panel is one where air is added to the interior of the panel to create a positive pressure, thus expelling anything potentially explosive. In lieu of the heavy cast aluminum enclosures OSCO will recommend the use of purged systems when possible. If you have an application, let’s talk.
