Turnkey Control Systems Integration for Metal Sorting

Challenge

Because of the success of our first project with US Management, we were able to work with them again to develop a turnkey control system that would integrate with their metal sorting machine at a new smelting facility in Alabama.

The objective of the project was to automate their entire sorting and detection process by integrating each function including conveyor, sorting and X-ray detection to one centralized controls system.

Solution

OSCO Controls custom built and programmed a fully integrated controls system that performed the functionality the way the customers specified while integrating seamlessly with their upstream and downstream machines. The system gives the customer complete control of their machinery from one single interface.

Result

Our engineers were onsite at the facility to oversee the implementation, startup, and commissioning of the system. As a result, the onsite commissioning was smooth and delivered a fully functional system that will provide the customer a more efficient and connected method for their scrap metal processing.
