Our Industry Certifications
1. UL Mark
The UL Mark (issued by UL LLC) is the gold standard for testing and certification for countless products, including appliances, computers, and chemicals. Products granted the UL Mark have been found compliant with strict UL requirements. OSCO control panel construction conforms to UL 508A standards, meets all national and local electrical codes, and is approved for use in the US and Canada. You can rest assured that our panels satisfy the rigorous requirements worthy of the UL Mark.
2. Certified UL 508A Panel Shop
UL offers a formal certification program for US and Canadian shops that manufacture industrial control panels. The program leverages a training plan focused on panel construction safety standards based on UL 508A. This certification allows us to produce panels and apply the UL Mark without UL design review resulting in streamlined production and delivery timelines. As a certified panel shop, we are subject to routine, unannounced inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
3. UL Certification of Compliance
In addition to the UL Mark, OSCO Controls has also earned UL’s Certification of Compliance for our UL Listed panels used in hazardous locations (HazLoc). Products certified for use in areas that pose an explosion or fire risk (due to the presence of combustible elements) must comply with UL’s ordinary and hazardous location requirements.

Though not mandatory by law, UL certification may be required by some retailers, insurers, and municipalities.
