Oscar Selling, Founder of OSCO Controls

OSCO Controls Regrets to Announce the Passing of Our Founder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our company founder, Oscar Selling. Oscar unexpectedly passed away on April 21, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 79.

Oscar founded OSCO Inc. in 1992 and sold the company to Autoquip Corporation in 2016. Oscar continued to work as general manager until his retirement in 2018. Today, OSCO Controls custom designs control panels and systems that are shipped to customers all over the world. The company was founded on Oscar’s unwavering commitment to integrity and his persistence on doing things right the first time. It is this legacy that continues to be our mission and the principles that guide our company forward.

Oscar will be deeply missed by so many family, friends, and associates. Those of us who had the opportunity to work under him are forever impacted by his enthusiasm, strong work ethic and dedication to his craft. He had a relentless drive and passion for the electrical controls industry. He stated once that he wished he would have been born later, so that he could continue being involved in all the new technology and innovation entering the controls industry. He absolutely loved his work and made it so everyone else enjoyed being at work also.
